Satsang: New Moon Fire Puja ~ Sacred Fire Ceremony

A fire puja is a sacred Vedic fire ceremony (homa) for decharging stress and negativity, powerfully charging the soul, and bringing healing and Divine blessings to all who attend. Homas operate by calling upon and working with specific aspects of the Divine invoked in a sacred fire kindled according to Vedic scriptures. During a homa, participants chant certain sacred Sanskrit mantras and make specific offerings to the fire. This Full Moon fire homa is for increasing all forms of abundance and prosperity and, for connecting in a beautiful way with Mother Divine (the Divine Feminine), it involves special offerings of nine different types of oils, fruits, flowers, and seeds. To receive the maximum benefit and healing from the homa fires, and because of the super-intense energies involved, it's highly advisable on the actual day of the homa to only eat vegetarian food and avoid alcohol.
