Shiva is the unconditionally loving and compassionate Father. One day each year, Shiva wakes up from his meditation to answer the needs of his devotees. That is Shivaratri Day. Once he comes out of meditation, we can tell him our prayers and wishes. Of course, we came from him. He knows all our problems and desires. He is the one we can give all of our problems to, and he is the one to give us any boon. Then once you win in spirituality, you won’t have to ask for anything, it will all come to you––happiness, financial security, mental peace, and enlightenment.
