無料医療キャンプ
医療検診・診断・治療を無料提供する事によって、SSGTは多くの病気に取り組み治療してきました。直接の介入と予防教育によってアンドラプラデシュ州内及び周辺の村の全体としての健康基準が向上しています。これらの集団診療が行われている間、ドイツ・オーストリア・アメリカ出身の西洋人の医師達が地元の政府の医師達と協力し、SSGTの使命を支えるために時間を割き奉仕をしました。
ナヴィア・スリ眼科診療所

2001年からSSGTはインドの貧しい村人達のために無料の医療眼科キャンプを運営しており、その年の11月、数多くの眼の疾患に苦しむ1000人以上の患者達に手術を行いました。患者達全員に食べ物・宿泊施設・移動手段・眼鏡が無料提供されました。
2007年、SSGTの支援によってナヴィア・スリ・眼科診療所が設立されました。SSGT設立の議長であるスリ・カレシュワーラの娘の名前にちなんで名付けられたこの地域初となる眼科診療所です。白内障などの様々な眼の疾患の根絶と予防のための最高水準の手術を提供することがこの診療所の目標です。
今まで何千例もの手術が行われ、診療所は眼の健康のために必要なケアを数多く提供しています。必要不可欠な医療機器・救急車・手術施設・サポートスタッフが提供され続けており、そうでなければ適切な処置を受ける金銭的余裕がない人々の増え続ける需要を満たしています。設立後、クリニックは2倍の大きさに拡大し、最初の18ヶ月で手術数は大幅に増えました。
設立時からスリ・カレシュワーラは、患者達や医師達の移動や緊急時に必要となる乗り物・救急車・ミニバスを個人的に寄付し続けています。病院が拡大し必要性が増しているため、眼科診療所の成長を支える為に追加の乗り物の寄付が計画されています。
HIVの子供達
近年SSGTとその議長スリ・カレシュワーラは、HIVウイルスに感染した子供達を救うためにクルシ村開発協会など複数の機構に対して必要な支援を多く提供しています。栄養のある必要な食べ物と医療支援を多く提供し、SSGTはインドで増加しているこの問題の支援を続けています。この病気に対する永久的な治療法はまだ発見されていませんが、ウイルスに感染した人々の支援を継続し、その究極的な治療法の探求を続けています。これらの子供達に面会した際、スリ・カレシュワーラはこのように述べられました：
恐ろしい病であるHIVに苦しんでいる人々を助ける為に一人一人が一歩踏み出し、彼らを幸せにして、彼らに自信を持たせなければなりません。また、私達は彼らが神の方を向く様に手助けをしなければなりません。そしてHIVに感染した人々への福祉を行いこの恐ろしい病を根絶するための最低限の責任を私達は負わなければなりません。」

アンドラプラデシュ州政府との協力において、国際的医療複合病院を設ける為にペヌコンダ村の中の土地がSSGTに寄付されました。インド・アンドラプラデシュ州においてこの病院は最高水準の専門施設を持つ病院の一つとなるでしょう。第一局面は既に着手されており、これには医療要員・看護士・インターン・医師達の教育訓練のためのその他の複合施設も含まれています。
このプロジェクトのための総費用は2000 万ドルであり、既にチャリティー組織から国際的支援を受けており、アメリカ・ヨーロッパ連合・アジア諸国から著名な医師や社会指導者が参加しています。

Anantapur: A 500-bed super speciality hospital will come up soon in the district. The hospital is to be constructed at a cost of Rs 100 crore in 160 acres and is the brainchild of spiritual leader Sai Kaleshwar, based in Penukonda. In a telephonic conversation, Kaleshwar said the main aim of the project is to provide super speciality medicare to the poor.
Kaleshwar, through the Shirdi Sai Global Trust, has been organizing free medical camps, performing free marriages and giving scholarships to merit students from poor families for pursuing higher education.
“Everyone should be service oriented and help others who are in distress or in need of help. It is one of the most significant aspects of a human being”, he said. He called upon the drought-hit farmers in the district not to lose heart.
“Profit and loss are two aspects of the same thing.” Kaleshwar said 2011 was not very good for Anantapur district with crop loss and dry spells, and hoped that the coming year would usher in more progress and prosperity for all.

In response to the growing global concern about the threat to public health by the Swine Flu (H1N1) virus, the Shirdi Sai Global Trust (SSGT) along with the Penukonda Police Department conducted an educational meeting on August 5th, 2009 in Penukonda, India. The purpose of this meeting was to explain the facts regarding swine flu to the local people, to teach them how to prevent the illness and to distribute preventative medicine.
A distinguished panel of senior community leaders, local officials and doctors emphasized the importance of education regarding swine flu. Those in attendance were informed that there are 3 stages of this virus: A, B and C. The first 2 stages, A & B, are considered not as dangerous as the 3rd stage, C. In order to reduce the risk of contracting this virus, it was explained that care needs to be taken with regard to sanitation and hygiene around the house and community.
Specific measures, such as the proper use of surgical masks, avoidance of high-risk situations and ways to strengthen the immune system were explained to reduce the risk of exposure to the virus as well as ways to limit its spread throughout the population.
The local people were advised that in case of any instances of flu symptoms such as vomiting, high fever, and respiratory complications, they should immediately report these to their local hospital. Public health posters about the swine flu virus to be placed throughout the community were shown to those who attended.
All the speakers and local officials expressed their appreciation and gratitude to the SSGT for supporting this Swine flu educational seminar, as well as the distribution of large quantities of medicines to those who attended.
On Tuesday in Penukonda, the Krushi Rural Development Organization (KRD) held a program to help children suffering from HIV by giving them nutritional food. Mr. R.W. Prabakar Rao and KRD president Ramanji Neyulu participated in this program.
In the program the MLA (Member of Legislative Assembly) of Penukonda, BK Parasaradhi, spoke of the many ways that the KRD is helping the people through its social welfare activities. He praised the organization and said its services are remarkable.
He especially commended the program offered by Sri Kaleshwar that is assisting children suffering from HIV, by providing them with nutritional food. He said that this was a very good model and very beneficial for society. He also said that he wants to give a permanent residence to the children suffering from HIV and that he will take this to the government and fight for it. Following his address, these nutritional foods were distributed to the to the suffering HIV infected children.
